State Grant Money to Support Local Development, Create Jobs
The $75,000 Rapid Outreach Grant from the Ohio Department of Development will help Assembly and Test Worldwide, Inc. in Dayton purchase new machinery and equipment. The company, will create 82 full-time jobs and retain 159 positions in Montgomery County as a result of the project.
$20,000 of the Rapid Outreach Grant will go to help Quickstep Composites, LLC acquire new machinery and equipment and make improvements to a 10,000 square-foot facility the company plans to lease on McCall Street in Dayton. That project will bring 20 new, full-time jobs to the area. Quickstep will also get a six-year, 40-percent job-creation Tax Credit from the Ohio Tax Credit Authority.

State Senator Jon Husted (R-Kettering) announced today that the state Controlling Board approved the release of state grants worth $95,000 to support the growth of two companies in Montgomery County that have committed to bring more than 100 jobs to the region. The $75,000 Rapid Outreach Grant from the Ohio Department of Development will help Assembly and Test Worldwide, Inc. in Dayton purchase new machinery and equipment.
