Students in Ohio University's Global Leadership Center recently returned from Dubai after participating in the Women as Global Leaders Conference.They met with over a thousand women from 85 countries to, quote, "build bridges that unite female students from around the world."
W-O-U-B reporter and anchor Jessica Demczar was one of the students to attend the third annual event.
Demczar says she went to many interesting panel discussions but her favorite was about the misconceptions about women in the United Arab Emerates.
Demczar says the keynote speakers included the head of UNICEF, the Dutchess of York, and actress Jane Fonda. © Copyright 2012, WOUB
