Why Are the Walls Screaming?" is the title of an art show up now in the Yellow Springs Arts Council Gallery. The artist, Tony Powers, is a synesthete. (sin-uh s-theet) That means, when Powers hears a sound, he also sees an image superimposed over the visual reality most people perceive. Powers' artwork is an attempt to show the world what he sees when he hears. WYSO's Sarah Buckingham talked with Tony Powers she started by asking him to define synesthesia
