Countries around the world are are facing some difficult economic and social challenges, and India is no exception. The nuclear-armed nation, and world's biggest democracy is undergoing phenominal changes while trying to reshape its role on the world stage. "India Rising" which airs tonight at 11 o'clock on WYSO, is a program that documents those challenges and on Monday, the shows producers will be in Dayton as part of an event sponsored by The Dayton Council on World Affairs. This week I spoke with one of the co- producers of India Rising - Journalist, Keith Porter with the non-partisan Stanley Foundation. He talked about this coming Monday night's event and explains that one challenge facing India and other countries is one of perception.
