Before Nepalese immigrant Prem Raja Mahat came to the US and opened up a restaurant in Baltimore, he was a famous pop music sensation in his home country. The Signal's Aaron Henkin meets Prem, visits his restaurant, hears his music, and talks with him about his unusual path.

The Roc-A-Jets sported pompadours and they made the ladies swoon... but they weren't guys. We meet musicians Carla Mandley and Jo Kellum, members of this 1950s rockabilly band that pioneered a social scene for gay women in Charm City.
