What They Spent (Per Vote) in Mayoral Primary ROCHESTER, NY (WXXI) - One more note on the Democratic primary election for Mayor of Rochester: Candidate Chris Maj says he may have lost, but his campaign was clearly the most efficient.

Maj says he calculated how much each of the four Democrats spent per vote, based on their financial disclosure reports.

Maj says he spent $3.86 on each of the 207 votes he got on Tuesday. He polled one percent.

Winner Bob Duffy (who polled 50 percent)spent $45.13 per vote, second-place finisher Wade Norwood spent $49.19 and third-place finisher Tim Mains spent $41.72 per voter.
