Rochester Man Arrested for Taking Political Signs
(2008-10-06)
(WXXI) - A Rochester man was arrested in Ontario County yesterday after a motorist saw him yanking a "McCain for President" sign out of a yard in the Village of Manchester.

The Ontario County Sheriff's Department stopped Roger Wood on Route 96 in Victor after a witness began following him and called 9-1-1.

The department says Wood was found in possession of numerous McCain and Congressman Randy Kuhl yard signs -- plus signs for the Cub Scouts.

They charged him with having a suspended drivers' license and they're investigating what's up with the signs.
