York Water Advisory Lifted YORK, LIVINGSTON COUNTY (WXXI) - The advisory to boil water in the town of York in Livingston County has been lifted.

The town issued the boil advisory on September 18, when the town's water system lost pressure from breaks in the main.

Livingston County's Public Health Director says the town has reviewed the water samples it took and found that the water is now safe for human consumption.
