Wegmans Recall Covers Some Fresh Bagels
Wegmans says the dough came from its Central Bakeshop in Rochester. It went into store-made bagels and bialys sold between August 24th and September ninth.
The recall doesn't cover frozen or packaged bagels.
There have been no reports of injures associated with the product. The problem came to light after a customer complained.
Bagels sold at Wegmans' stores in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and Maryland are potentially affected. The store believes just over a thousand cases of potentially affected bagels were produced.
