WXXI: GRE Names Interim Head (2008-08-29)

Greater Rochester Enterprise has announced that Mark S. Peterson will serve as its interim president.

The organization is without a leader following Dennis Mullen's nomination by the governor to serve as president of Empire State Development's upstate New York branch.

Peterson is currently the managing director of G-R-E ... he will serve while the board searches for a new president and CEO for the Rochester marketing organization.

The decision to tag Peterson for the interim role was made at an executive committee meeting Thursday.
