Local Leaders Unveil Rochester Wish List ROCHESTER, NY (WXXI) - Local business and government leaders have come up with their annual wish list of projects that need state government support.

This year the group is focusing on three key projects and two policy items to be featured in this year's state budget.

They're seeking funding for a Rochester after-school program, the Institute for Sustainability at RIT, and the Route 390 project near the U of R. The coalition is also seeking policy changes, including mandate relief for local governments and Empire Zone and Industrial Development Agency reform.

The Rochester Business Alliance assembles the coalition. CEO Sandy Parker says the RBA is planning a lobby day in Albany. They're also going to encourage residents to send letters in support of the agenda to lawmakers. © Copyright 2010, WXXI
