Rep. Massa Opposes Current Climate Change Bill
The bill--referred to as "cap and trade"--would set limits on greenhouse gas emissions. It would allow industries to buy and sell permits for releasing certain levels of carbon. The measure--as it is currently written--does not have the support of 29th district Congressman Eric Massa, who says the bill would not solve the problem of climate change.
Massa says the bill would harm the country's manufacturing base, damage American agriculture, and send billions of tax dollars overseas.
