RPO's Jeff Tyzik to Lead a Special Veterans' Day Concert ROCHESTER, NY (WXXI) - The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra will be putting on a special Veterans' Day concert next month as part of the city's 175th anniversary.

Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik says the concert will be done in two parts. Tyzik says the first half of the concert will feature a salute to Rochester's veterans; that will be followed by a celebration of Rochester's history of jazz--with a special focus on legendary bandleader Cab Calloway.

The concert will take place November 11th at the Blue Cross Arena. Tickets are $5 each, with veterans getting in for free.
