On Record - Juliana Athayde, Kenneth Grant, and Mozart
The Rochester Philharmonic did not return to Vail, Colorado this summer for the Bravo! Vail Festival, so they had the chance to put together a summer season for us. Included in the many concerts around town is Wolfgang Wednesdays at the Hochstein Performance Hall.

by Julia Figueras

RPO Concertmaster Juliana Athayde and Principal Clarinetist Kenneth Grant are soloists in the series; they came by to talk about the artistry of Mozart and the art of playing his music. Along the way, they also talked to Julia Figueras about the pleasures of summer concerts in this city and instruments new and old, including Kenny's new basset-clarinet.
