Jon Nakamatsu had a bear of a schedule this time around: 2 concerts with the RPO in honor of late philanthropist Al Davis, and a chamber concert with his musical partner, Jon Manasseand RPO members. Somehow, he still found time to stop in and talk to Julia Figueras about eaking out rehearsal time, the rocky state of arts finance, and where he finds all the cool cadenzas.
