On Friday, June 16 at 1 p.m. on Classical 91.5/90.3 WXXI's Julia Figueras invites members of the Glimmerglass Opera Company in studio to talk and perform highlights from their upcoming summer season.
Glimmerglass Opera Company produces new, little known, and familiar operas and works of music theater in innovative productions which capitalize on the intimacy and natural setting of The Alice Busch Opera Theater. The company also promotes an artistically challenging work environment for young American performers and engages important directors, designers and conductors who provide high standards of achievement.
Backstage Pass, a live radio program broadcast from WXXI's Studio E, is dedicated to spotlighting the arts in Rochester and is made possible in part by a grant from the Gouvernet Arts Fund at Rochester Area Community Foundation.
