The RPO's Search for a Star 2 Soloist

Katrina King, a homeschooled senior from Marion, has been playing flute for five years. She currently studies with Kathryn Scarbrough at the Hochstein School of Music, where she is principal flutist for the Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Honors Certificate Program. She has won numerous competitions and merit awards, and has spent the last two summers at Boston University Tanglewood Institute's Young Artist Orchestra. Katrina plans to pursue a career in flute performance.
