NPR's From the Top was just in town for a live taping at Nazareth College, an event hosted by WXXI and the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. The host, Christopher O'Riley, carved out some time from his jam-packed scheduled for a little one-on-one conversation with Julia Figueras about the show, and his marriage of rock and classical. Chris also brought his digital music stand, filled with Radiohead and Nick Drake transcriptions, to Studio E for an unforgettable hour on Backstage Pass.

Backstage Pass, a live radio program broadcast from WXXI's Studio E, is dedicated to spotlighting the arts in Rochester and is made possible in part by a grant from the Gouvernet Arts Fund at Rochester Area Community Foundation.
