Greenbrier East HS drama teacher San Yates says he and the kids have enjoyed working on this musical theatre classic Guys And Dolls by Elaine Brown Lewisburg, WV It's that time again. Greenbrier East High School students and GVTeen members are hard at work rehearsing for this year's production - Guys and Dolls. Each year since 2002 Greenbrier Valley Theatre and GEHS partner to present a popular production performed by area teenagers. Past productions include Grease, Footloose, The Sound of Music, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, The Boyfriend, 42nd Street, and most recently, Oklahoma!

Performance dates include March 25 at 7pm ("Pay What You Can" Performance), March 26 at 7pm (Opening Night with post-show reception), March 27 and 28 at 7pm, March 29 at 3pm (matinee), April 1 - 4 at 7pm. Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for students and children.

Guys and Dolls is a fable about what happens to gambling men and the women who long to tame them. Set in the colorful world of New York City in the mid 20th century, the romantic and funny tale is populated with gangsters and gamblers, missionary dolls and scantily clad showgirls, and one the great musical scores in the history of American theatre.
