Dirt Cake Nancy puts a fun spin on dessert. Aired on "Let's Dish" July 15, 2009 by Nancy Miller 1 8oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp. Lemon juice
3 cups milk
2 3.5 oz. packages instant vanilla pudding 1 tsp. Vanilla
1 12oz. (or 2 8 oz.) containers of Cool Whip
1 large package of Oreo cookies

Mix first 6 ingredients together slowly, adding the milk to prevent lumps. When all the milk has been added, fold in the Cool Whip. Crush the Oreos and put half in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Spread with the filling and sprinkle the other half of the Oreos on top. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.

And here's how to make it fun. Instead of making the recipe in a 9 x 13 pan, make it in an appropriate sized clean, plastic flower pot. Stick gummy worm candies partly in the "dirt." If you'd like it to be a pretty centerpiece for your party table, stick clean fake flowers in the middle.
