WVIA 2007 Sno Cove Member Day PITTSTON, PA (wvia) - However, Sno Cove officials also announced they will offer a WVIA Membership make-up day in June of 2008 and a regular WVIA Member Day in August that same year. That means that WVIA members who missed out on a summer member day this year will have two summer member days to look forward to next year.

WVIA is heartbroken the station won't be able to offer our members a day at the new water slides this summer, said Wendy Wilson, WVIA's vice president of corporate communications. Unfortunately, Sno Cove is unable to open at all this year as planned and instead will wait until the summer of 2008 to open its gates. Sno Cove officials have been completely apologetic when it comes to WVIA members and have vowed to insure that next year, Sno Cove will make good on the WVIA Member Day by offering two membership days, one in June and the other in August.

In addition to the WVIA Member Day at Sno Cove, a variety of additional Membership Days are slated for the upcoming year including free admission to the Lackawanna County Coal Mine Tour and Anthracite Heritage Museum in November, free ski days at Elk and Blue Mountain in January and a free day at Ski Sawmill in February and a free member day Knoebel's Amusement Park and Resort in May.
