(2014-01-30)
(wvia) - WVIA-FM presents The Badlees and King Radio, a new group featuring Justin King, members of Mere Mortals and Leroy Justice from The Five Percent, on the next live broadcast of WVIA's Homegrown Music Concert on Monday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. from the Sordoni High-Definition Theater located in the WVIA Studios in Pittston, PA.

Reserve your free seats for the live concert-broadcast with The Badlees and King Radio in the Sordoni High-Definition Theater at the WVIA Studios by calling 570-655-2808 or by visiting http://www.wvia.org/about/sordoni-theater-reservations/.

The Badlees are very different on many levels, each member coming to the table with unique personalities and musical influences. However, these differences are why The Badlees worked in the first place and hence, survived the ups and downs in the ever changing music industry. In October 2013, The Badlees released their 10th studio album "Epiphones and Empty Rooms". For more information on The Badlees, visit http://badlees.com/index.php.

King Radio is a brand new group based out of Brooklyn NY, who recently finished recording with Grammy Award winning, Engineer/Producer Jim Scott. The band includes Justin King, Mark Kiesinge, AJ Jump, Nick Driscoll, and Justin Mazer.

The Homegrown Music concert series is produced and hosted by WVIA-FM's George Graham and presents a wide ranging array of artists in unique monthly two-hour radio concerts which are broadcast live before a studio audience on WVIA FM in real time.
