Our panel discusses Anger Management on the next live Call the Doctor on WVIA
(2013-02-06)
(wvia) - Our experts answer viewers' questions about Anger Management on the next live Call the Doctor on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. on WVIA TV.

Anger is a normal, healthy emotion, but when chronic, explosive anger spirals out of control, it can have serious consequences for your relationships, health, and state of mind. The emotion of anger is neither good nor bad. It's perfectly healthy and normal to feel angry when you've been mistreated or wronged. The feeling isn't the problem. It's what you do with it that makes a difference. Anger becomes a problem when it harms you or others.

Our panel includes R. James Rinck, M.S.W., L.C.S.W. from Geisinger Health System, Michael Church, Ph.D., director of clinical psychology at First Hospital Commonwealth Health and Glenn Jacobson, a licensed psychologist.

Viewers may call in questions during the live show at 1-800-326-9842 or submit their questions online at http://www.wvia.org/live-show-comments.

An encore presentation of this program can be seen on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. on WVIA TV.

After its live presentation this program will be made available online at http://on-demand.wvia.org/program/call-doctor/.
