Familial Combined Hyperlipidemia is the Topic on the next live Call the Doctor on WVIA
(wvia) - Our panel discusses and answers viewers' questions about Familial Combined Hyperlipidemia on the next live Call the Doctor on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. on WVIA TV.

Familial Combined Hyperlipidemia is an inherited disorder of high cholesterol and high blood triglycerides. It's the most common genetic disorder of increased blood fats that cause early heart attacks. Diabetes, alcoholism, and hypothyroidism make the condition worse.

Our panel includes Dr. Rick Blum, American Board of Clinical Lipidologists, medical director of the Commonwealth Health Center for Advanced Lipid Management and a clinical faculty at The Commonwealth Medical College, and Albert Sun MD, Endocrinology, Geisinger Health System.
