WVIA's Homegrown Music Concert Series returns with Live Performances by The Blaire Reinhard Band and Lorne Clarke
(wvia) - WVIA's Homegrown Music Concerts hosted by George Graham returns Monday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. in the Sordoni Theater at WVIA Studios with a live radio performance by the Blaire Reinhard Band, which has attracted national attention with its debut recording Steps on the Ceiling, along with popular regional singer-songwriter Lorne Clarke.

The Blaire Reinhard Band from New Jersey is something of a family affair. Ms. Reinhard is joined by her brother Gray Reinhard (they are grandchildren of Tonight Show bandleader Doc Severinson) her husband Wade Perrin, along with drummer Keith Woodward. Their attractive, melodic roots-rock sound has been attracting critical praise. They make their Homegrown Music debut as part of this two-hour live concert.

Lorne Clarke, a native of Canada, has been a long-time resident of the Tunkhannock area, and has released two CDs. He was co-creator with Tom Flannery of the Song-a-Week website, and is the artistic director of the Old Lynne Church concert series. He last appeared on Homegrown Music as part of the Gathering of Singer-Songwriters concert WVIA co-presented last year at the Scranton Cultural Center. He'll be performing some new songs and some favorites.

Listeners interested in attending the live concert by The Blaire Reinhard Band and Lorne Clarke in The Sordoni Theater located at the WVIA Studios can reserve their free tickets by calling 570-655-2808 or by visiting
