Northeast Pennsylvania Newspaper Reporters join us on the next State of Pennsylvania, as we ask, Who says It's NEPA News?
(2012-02-13)
(wvia) - It's your turn to ask the questions as reporters from newspapers throughout northeast Pennsylvania join us on an all-new live State of Pennsylvania on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. on WVIA TV.

Do northeast Pennsylvania reporters make news when they report it? Is there really a difference between liberal and conservative coverage and how do you tell the difference?

It's your chance to ask questions, as WVIA welcomes 5 northeast Pennsylvania newspaper reporters to the show to discuss what's important, how they decide what to write and how to write it.

Joining WVIA President Bill Kelly for this discussion are Tiffany Towner, Managing Editor-News for The Daily Review, Michael R. Sisak, a staff writer with The Citizens' Voice, Bill O'Boyle a staff writer with The Times Leader, Borys Krawczeniuk, a political writer for The Times-Tribune, and Bernie Oravec, publisher of The Williamsport Sun-Gazette.

Encore presentations of this program can be seen on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. on WVIA-TV.

This program will be available on demand within 24 hours of its live broadcast at http://wviaondemand.org/contusmore/?playid=1.
