4:00 pmAll Things Considered

At 5 p.m. EDT on May 3, 1971, the first edition of All Things Considered went on the air. In the more than three decades since, almost everything about the program has changed -- the hosts and producers, the length of the program, the equipment used, even the audience. But one thing remains the same: the determination to get the day's big stories on the air, and to bring them alive through sound and voice.

7:00 pmAll That Jazz

George Graham
All That Jazz, produced and hosted by George Graham, presents an hour of straight-ahead acoustic jazz with the emphasis on today's finest performers. However, the pioneers of the great American music form are not neglected, with classic and rare recordings featured from the Adams Collection and the extensive WVIA-FM library. All That Jazz also presents occasional Homegrown Jazz features, spotlighting regional jazz performers recorded in the WVIA studios.
8:00 pmMixed Bag

George Graham
Mixed Bag is WVIA-FM's program of creative contemporary music, produced and hosted by George Graham, who calls it "your program of musical discovery." Heard Monday through Friday at 8:00 PM, the program features music not heard elsewhere on the radio, including distinctive varieties of rock, plus folk, blues, World Music, fusion, Cajun/Zydeco, reggae, New Acoustic, Celtic and music that is made up innovative combinations of those sounds. The operative word is eclectic.
