MILWAUKEE, WI
(wuwm) -
Speakers from nine religious traditions held a joint Thanksgiving service last night. The event was organized by the Brookfield-Elm Grove Interfaith Network. Its mission is to promote a culture of respect and dialogue in the interfaith community. Ann-Elise Henzl put together a sampling of the comments. In this report, we hear from the Rev. Suzelle Lynch (Unitarian Universalist Church West), Dr. Mushir Hassan (Islamic society of Milwaukee), Mary Janowak (St. John Vianney Parish), Rabbi Steve Adams (Congregation Emanu-El), Dr. Mohan Rao (Hindu Temple of Wisconsin), and the Rev. Richard Strait (Trinity Pilgrim United Methodist Church).
