Local VA program helps returning soldiers MILWAUKEE (wuwm) - Over the weekend, war veterans marched through the streets of Milwaukee for the city's annual Veteran's Day Parade. It honored soldiers' service and sacrifices. It was also a reminder of the thousands of men and women still serving overseas, and of the difficulties they face when they come home. At the VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Dr. Cathy Coppolillo helps returning soldiers re-establish themselves in civilian life. She told WUWM's Erin Toner that many veterans have mental health issues and struggle with relationships and family life.
