Wisconsin closer to deregulating cable tv MILWAUKEE, WI (wuwm) - Wisconsin may soon deregulate its cable tv industry. The Legislature's Joint Finance Committee voted overwhelmingly yesterday to let the state rather than local governments decide which companies can offer cable services.
