Mayor interviewing police chief finalists MILWAUKEE, WI (wuwm) - After a nine month search, Milwaukee's Fire and Police Commission is moving closer to selecting a new police chief to replace Nannette Hegerty. She's retiring in mid November. Tonight at city hall, the public will have a chance to interview the five finalists for the job. In the meantime, the mayor is also taking a crack at the candidates.
