State legislature to vote on budget MILWAUKEE, WI (wuwm) - Finally, there's a budget deal between democrats who control the state senate and republicans who are in charge in the state assembly. Legislative leaders announced an agreement late last week, after a nearly four month stalemate. Today, that compromise will go before the full legislature.
