Student-run conference focuses on energy policy MILWAUKEE (wuwm) - University of Wisconsin students will put on an energy policy conference in Madison Thursday and Friday. They're inviting professionals in the field to critique energy policy proposals written by students across the country. The papers deal with topics such as renewable energy, high-performance buildings in Wisconsin and long-term planning for the electricity industry. The event is sponsored by the UW Madison chapter of the Roosevelt Institution - a nationwide student-run think tank. WUWM's Erin Toner spoke with chapter's executive director, Richard Dovere, about the group's mission.
