Candidate Bob Hackworth FEATHER SOUND (WUSF) - Bob Hackworth is the Mayor of Dunedin, a non-partisan office. But, he's a former registered Republican. He says he declared to run as a Democrat because he rejects current Republican policies such as support for the Iraq War. His hope is to become a "citizen legislator" like those envisioned by Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.
