Obama, McCain Target Florida TAMPA (WUSF) - Conventional wisdom several months ago was that John McCain had the state - with its large numbers of retirees and military veterans - locked up. But the ascendency of Barack Obama has upset that equation. The state is now up for grabs - as can be seen by visits today by Obama in St. Petersburg and McCain in Orlando.

USF Political Science professor Susan MacManus expects many more visits in the next few months.
