Tampa's Student Promise TAMPA (WUSF) - The students were given a mission to see if Tampa deserved to make it on a list of one of the 100 Best Commmunities For Young People. That list was complied by America's Promise Alliance, which was founded as a way to see that children get the resources they need to succeed in life.

They say having adults communicate with their children - and keeping after-school programs affordable - is vital to keeping kids out of trouble, and in school.
