TAMPA
(WUSF) -
The teachers worked in Pinellas and Pasco counties. A substitute teacher at Pasco's Mitchell High School has been arrested and charged with having a sexual relationship with an underage male student.
A Pasco Sheriff's spokesman says forty-year-old Lisa Robyn Marinelli, of New Port Richey, has been under investigation since late February. The investigation began after the boy's father told sheriff's deputies he saw his son getting out of Marinelli's car while pulling up his pants. The boy told investigators that his relationship with Marinelli started in January, when he was 16.
And in Pinellas County, School Superintendent Clayton Wilcox has recommended that Thomas J. Anderson, the girls varsity basketball coach at Seminole High School, be fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old female student. © Copyright 2010, WUSF
