Renewable Energy Committee Meets ST. PETERSBURG (WUSF) - The governor's Miami summit resulted in calls for less power consumption and more use of clean energy sources, such as solar and wind power. But last week's summit was not the only work that is being done to promote alternative sources of energy.

A committee called the Renewable Energy Advisory Group was formed by lawmakers last year. Their goal is to come up with a workable plan that can be handed to the governor and legislature. They'll meet Tuesday in St. Petersburg. © Copyright 2013, WUSF
