My Last Tour: J-Bad Rescue TAMPA (WUSF) - A car with two children and an elderly man goes off a cliff in Afghanistan. The accident, at what is fondly called J-Bad Pass, turned a U.S. military resupply mission into an impromptu medical evacuation documented by Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Rex Temple.

Temple tells us the story of the Georgia National Guard soldiers who decided to stop and offer help while on a convoy through Jalalabad Pass. He also took photos of the rescue as the soldiers and local Afghanis worked together to bring the injured up a 50-foot embankment.
