(WUSF) -
The crowd was buzzing at the Tampa Convention Center, as two naturalization ceremonies were held to swear in people from 69 countries. The majority are from Cuba, India and Mexico - although this group included new citizens from places as diverse as Nepal, Kazahstan, and one from the Ivory Coast. Many posed with a life-sized cutout of the Statue of Liberty before taking the oath of citizenship.
