Florida Forever, Springs Bills TALLAHASSEE (WUSF) - Florida's fiscal shortfall - estimated at nearly six billion dollars - means there's few "sacred cows" that can be spared from the budget axe. Florida Forever, funded in recent years through $300 million in bond issues, is unfunded this year in Senate and House committee appropriation budgets.
