11/27/06: Enough
(2006-11-27)
NPR Senior Correspondent Juan Williams Photo (c) Frank Graves
(kuer) - In his book Enough, NPR Senior Correspondent Juan Williams argues a point that he says "is not secret. It's practically a joke." Black Americans are in a crisis - caught in a cycle of social problems and economic hardships that goes against half a century of civil rights achievements. His book is a call for leadership to move away from self-pity, and for the community to open their eyes to the "culture of failure." Williams joins us from the studios of National Public Radio in Washington. (Rebroadcast)
