UK Seeing Green Today LEXINGTON, KY (wuky) - The Second annual Sustainability Showcase is taking place in the student center grand ballroom.

The day-long expo features guest speakers, panel discussions, movies, and some two dozen green information booths. UK student Amanda Caldwell is volunteering with a group that's conducting a unique clothing drive.


Caldwell says the 500 pairs of denim collected will be converted into some 16-hundred square feet of insulation that's enough to equip an average-sized house.
