Kentucky Delegation Denver-Bound
LOUISVILLE, KY
(wuky) -
Several members of the Kentucky delegation are representing Senator Hillary Clinton, who won Kentucky's presidential primary in May, but later threw her support to Senator Barack Obama.
Clinton's delegates can still vote for her nomination, but Kentucky Democratic Party Executive Director Jeremy Horton says he's confident they will unite behind Obama.
"The country can make leaps forward with a transformational leader and I think you'll see that demonstrated on Thursday. You'll see the country, I believe, turn towards Barack Obama as the person to lead us in a difficult time," Horton said.
