Birmingham Switchup in United Kingdom BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND (APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - You'd think they'd be able to pick it out of a lineup.

But authorities in Birmingham, England, failed to notice when a new leaflet on recycling was stamped with pictures from another city called Birmingham - the one in the U.S. state of Alabama.

The picture shows the American city's SouthTrust Tower, rather than images of the British Birmingham's iconic Bullring mall with its curved exterior studded with silver globes.

Birmingham's City Council acknowledged the error on Thursday - the second time in recent months British authorities have mixed up the two cities.
