Movie Gallery Names New CFO DOTHAN, AL (APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - Movie Gallery Inc. has announced that Lucinda M. Baier will become the new executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Dothan-based video rental chain.

Baier's appointment is effective Monday. She succeeds Thomas D. Johnson, Jr., who has served as the CFO since June 2006 and will leave the company following a brief transition period.

Baier was most recently senior vice president and chief financial officer of World Kitchen, LLC.

Movie Gallery is the second largest North American video rental company, with about 3,300 stores operating under the brands Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video and Game Crazy.
