The court's decision Monday says Riley appointee George Bowman can continue serving in the seat that Larry Langford vacated when he successfully ran to be the mayor of Birmingham.
William Bell won a special election to the seat in February, but the court ruled that the election was invalid.

The Alabama Supreme Court has upheld Gov.
