Calhoun Community College Chosen For Robotics Center
The governor announced the site choice Monday and said the complex would help the state attract high-tech industry, improve the efficiency of existing industries, and train workers for careers in robotics.
Training at the new complex is expected to begin in 18 months. Numerous industrial partners have pledged a total of more than $40 million in robotic machinery for the complex.
Wallace State Community College in Hanceville was also considered for the robotics complex.
