Survey Shows Average Gas Price Rises 10 Cents in Three Weeks UNDATED (APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - The nation's drivers are getting pinched at the pump. Oil analyst Trilby Lundberg says the national average price for gasoline rose nearly 10 cents over the last three weeks to $3.07 a gallon.

Alabama motorists are paying just under three dollars a gallon for regular. According to AAA, the average price statewide is $2.99 a gallon. Midgrade fuel is $3.20 and premium is $3.29 a gallon

Nationally, the average price for mid-grade is $3.26 and premium is $3.37.
