ADAA Calls on AG To Apologize MONTGOMERY AL (APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - The Alabama District Attorneys Association has called on Attorney General Troy King to apologize to the local prosecutor in Shelby County in a dispute over a death sentence.
King has stripped Shelby County District Attorney Robby Owens from the case after Owens supported reducing a young death row inmate's sentence. Now the state district attorney's group has released a statement saying Owens was properly acting as a minister of justice.
